The Bernedoodle has three main sizes depending upon the poodle size; these sizes include the standard Bernedoodle, Miniature Bernedoodle, and tiny Bernedoodle. A Miniature Bernedoodle is also known as the mini Bernedoodle. The full Bernedoodle is usually a fully grown standard, Bernedoodle.

Mini Bernedoodles are small in size as clear from their name. But their size can vary within the small size range depending upon the size of the Bernese mountain dog and the poodle size.

1. Weight

When we talk about their weight, it can also be varied within the small weight range depending upon their parents, food, and environment. Their weight can vary between 15 to 40 pounds range. A mini Bernedoodle can have different colors depending upon the parent’s colors. It can be bi-color and tri-color mini Bernedoodle. Their coat can also be divided into various types like straight, curly, and wavy coat depending upon their parents.

2. Temperament

When we talk about their temperament, the miniature Bernedoodles are more active as compared to full Bernedoodles. They are highly recommended family dogs as compared to other sizes. Moreover, you can also start the training of these dogs early to adjust these dogs in the family easily. Miniature Bernedoodles has a greater life span as compared to other bigger sizes.

Full Bernedoodles

A full Bernedoodle, which is also known as the standard Bernedoodle, is a cross between Bernese mountain dog and the standard poodle.

When we talk about the size of the full Bernedoodle, it varies from 45 to 110 pounds weight and 23 to 29 inches in height depending upon the size of the parents. Generally, the smaller full Bernedoodles range from 45 to 80 pounds, and the larger full Bernedoodles are varied from 80 to 110 pounds.

2. Difficult to judge

It isn’t easy to judge the full-grown Bernedoodle due to different kinds of food and the environment. Their coat also varies in color and style depending upon the color and style of their parents. They can get a bi or tri-color depending upon the parent’s color. These dogs’ temperament is also sound like the mini Bernedoodles. When we talk about life expectancy, these dogs can live in a range of 12 to 15 years.

So we can say that there is no much different coat color, styles, and temperament of the mini Bernedoodles and Full Bernedoodle. But there is a big difference in terms of size and life expectancy. The smaller size Bernedoodle has more life span as compared to larger sizes.
